Playa de Diego Hernandez is located near the La Caleta de Adeje bus stop in La Caleta.
It can only be reached on foot.
With this couple, we embarked on such a walk to reach a place remarkably free from human interference.

There are plenty of wild beaches in Tenerife.
We chose this one for its colors - the light, sandy atmosphere suited us perfectly.
This is quite unusual for Tenerife, as most beaches and rocks are dark due to their volcanic origin.

Playa de Diego Hernandez is also great for surfing, as you'll see in the rest of the photos.
We went there during the most beautiful time of day - sunset.
Depending on the season, you can observe the sun beautifully disappearing behind the horizon.
We only managed to see it from the side, but it was still wonderful.
walking with all the equipment wasn't easy, but it was worth it!
