La Tejita Beach - at the foot of the "Red Mountain", from Spanish Montaña Roja.
Why red?
I think looking at the photos you'll notice it yourself. I'm not the cobbler who walks without shoes, and today I'm showing you my photo session here, because "photography is a story that I can't express in words" ~Destin Sparks.

La Tejita and Montaña Roja
Especially in the light of the rising sun, this mountain looks red.
You can climb up it and admire the panorama of the eastern part of Tenerife.

Why did I choose this place - La Tejita beach - for my photo session?
Because I love the effect of windswept hair, clothes dancing in the wind, that specific nostalgia visible in the dry landscape.
You'll find all of this at La Tejita beach.
You won't find tourist resorts, shops, or hotels here.
Instead, there's lots of space, dark sand, and a majestic mountain in the background.
Pure minimalism.
And for me, that's where the beauty lies.

The large, wide beach has another great advantage - you can run and play on it carefreely.

At La Tejita beach, sunrises are more visible than sunsets, but still, at the right time, you can find beautiful light there.
As always, I recommend preparing max. 2 sets of clothes, which is what happened in my case ;)
Part 2 of the photo session at La Tejita beach

In the background, planes regularly take off and land, because this beach is located near the airport in Tenerife.
I absolutely love shots like these!
Not everyone likes it when hair gets in their mouth in every photo ;)
I always warn my clients about this beforehand, because I know there are people who find it stressful.
However, I personally LOVE this effect, and I'm willing to "suffer through it."
Suddenly I noticed that everything around is fascinating.
But only in photography.
