I've always known that I love sunsets, especially those over the sea or ocean.
I'm enchanted by the fact that no two sunsets are alike.
Each one is different.
Orange, yellow, violet, red to navy blue, and sometimes black - it's a spectacle you can watch every day, without tickets, for free, feeling the warm breeze on your face.
Are you grateful for this?
That's just a question to ponder - but that's not what I'm talking about today ;)
Tenerife has many, really many viewpoints from which the view of the sunset is incredible.
We can observe it from water level, but we can also drive up to about 1000 meters above sea level and the perspective changes completely.
I like sunsets with a view of the volcano - you can then admire the majesty of Teide.
I also love sunsets seen from the balcony.
If I'm at home, I'll never give up those few minutes of relaxation watching the sun hide.
I always think then that the sun went to our friends on the other side of the globe :)
But as usual, I started writing about sunsets only as an introduction to today's main topic - namely sunrise, and already my fantasy about another sunset hijacked my post.
I'm getting back on track.
I had the enormous pleasure a few days ago to go swimming in the morning with my two beautiful models in natural pools at sunrise.
I wanted to show you a few shots from that morning, interrupting for short reflections from this experience.

the first message is that sunrises on Tenerife are quite late
in June, when this session was created, it was a few minutes after 7

Then I thought something very childish and simple, that sunrise is like sunset,
only in reverse order :P

I wanted to capture the girls from above too, so I had a better observation point than them.
And that's when I had this reflection that when the sun suddenly appeared from behind the mountain and changed the sky from dark blue to all possible shades of orange, it was like recording a timelapse of a sunset and playing it backwards.
Simple yet revealing.

Despite everything, even though both these phenomena are similar to each other, the light that sunrise gives differs from that of sunset.
In photography, that's the most important thing - light.

On Tenerife, due to the strong sun, sunrise and sunset are the only times during the day when you can do a photo session.
Most often clients choose sunset - obviously, who wants to get up early on vacation ;)

The light of the setting sun is wonderful for sessions.
Warm tones, so-called soft light, which makes our faces and eyes clearly visible and radiant.
I love sunset sessions.

The light of sunrise showed me that it likes to be cooler, but in combination with those cliffs and black rocks, it had a huge advantage.
after such sessions I have a dilemma - which photo to print as a picture for the wall
Does the beauty of nature also evoke such admiration in you?

Here the sunrise was becoming more and more intense.
A palette of colors appeared in the sky.
The sounds of birds, nature waking up to life combined with this view - a fairy tale.

The waves were so loud that even when I shouted to the girls to be careful (stressed aunt), they couldn't hear ;) all I could do was take photos :)
From above, I was sometimes quite scared whether they weren't too close to the water.
but the girls were determined to have nice frames to hang on the wall :)

this photo, if I didn't know its story, I would be able to think it was a sunset
sunrise - Tenerife - fairy tale!
So how about it - more sunrises or sunsets? ;)

I still don't know.
